...culture? Today, the world is aligned with a variety of types of buildings, but years ago, the architecture was unique. Various periods would entertain different structures. Of course, it may be said that modern or postmodern buildings which sit amongst relics from the past characterize today's culture as well. One can for example look at a home from the 1950s and equate it with a particular decade. The characteristics are quite different from Victorian-era buildings for example. There does seem to be a relationship between architecture and culture. When all is said and done, one question looms: what do buildings tell people about culture?
