In respect to going to the New World, William Bradford, John Smith and John Winthrop have each compiled observations about their journeys. It is interesting to compare and contrast these authors and look at their observations and opinions of traveling during this exciting time in history. It should be noted however that while they all migrated to the New World, different regions were involved and time periods were slightly different as well. However, each author provides a semblance of what occurred when people made their way to North America during the seventeenth century.
