Neil Harvey has intriguing credentials. At the time he wrote this book, he was Assistant Professor of Government at New Mexico State University; he apparently still holds that position. His areas of expertise include government and politics, which might indicate that he is more interested in seeing how this rebellion plays out in the context of contemporary government rather than as a historical event. That is, is he going to consider the revolt in terms of politics rather than history?
