The goal, therefore, is to provide teaching and learning experiences that are effective, that is, that instigate thinking and learning on the part of the student.
Exploring this subject, this writer/tutor interviewed a fourth grade teacher who is currently working with a class of low-income children living in a rural county of North Carolina.
