Project Case Study – Carly And Morris

This case study is about a supervisor of a large technology-based corporation, and problems that a team is having with Carly, a project head for a new system scheduled to come to market on January 1. It's August, and with the project nowhere near on time, the supervisor met with Carly, who complained about Morris, one of the team members, who is being hostile. However, after talking to Carly, Morris and other team members, it was clear Carly was exaggerating her story. Team members said that Carly is the one treating Morris poorly, likely because she is intimidated by Morris.
On the surface, it seems as though this is all Carly. Carly was the team leader, Carly was the one poking at Morris and Carly was the one who put Morris in a bad light when, in fact, it was Morris who was being unfairly treated by Carly. But is it really all Carly's fault?
Why didn't Carly come sooner to the supervisor to discuss project delays?
