Executive Summary
WWF operates on funds gained through donations, and the current economic environment is difficult. The focus here is on increasing presence in the United States and donations from WWF members there. The following plan targets corporate members; employees of companies that encourage volunteerism; and teachers of science and social studies.
Corporate Members will include companies included on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the United States and those with Corporate Governance Quotient values over 60 percent.
Employees of Corporate Members are those working for companies that encourage community volunteerism.
Public School Teachers of science and social studies will be targeted in this effort; subsequent efforts will expand to include private school teachers as well. The goal is to form 10,000 school fundraising groups.
The total cost of the program will be $400,000; anticipated revenues are $6,625,000 for a net benefit of $6,225,000.
